Quick answers

The questions people ask most about skin trading
Do I need Steam Guard to trade?

Yes. The Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator must have been active for at least 7 consecutive days. Otherwise Steam holds outgoing items for up to 15 days, and most services will not accept such a trade.

Can I publish my Trade URL openly?

Technically yes — the link cannot take anything, only offer a trade. But the wider it spreads, the more spam offers you get, so rotating the token from time to time does no harm.

Can a trade lock be removed early?

No. Neither a paid subscription, nor a support ticket, nor a third-party service shortens the period. Any offer to “unlock a skin for money” is a scam.

Can I roll back just one trade?

No. The mechanic is all or nothing: every trade involving protected items over the last 7 days is reversed, honest deals included.

How much does Steam take when you sell a CS2 skin?

A 5 % Steam fee plus a 10 % game fee — roughly 15 % of the buyer's price in total. The seller receives about 87 % of what the buyer paid.

Is it dangerous to give a site my Trade URL?

No. A trade link only lets someone send you an offer — accepting or declining is entirely up to you. What is dangerous is your password, Steam Guard codes and API key, not the Trade URL.
